Taking Steps is now running at Barrington Stage through August 5.

Alan Ayckbourn's Taking Steps is described as follows: "Elizabeth, a former dancer, will do anything to escape the overbearing clutches of her rich husband, Roland, who is poised to buy a haunted house (a former brothel). The dithering, confused Kitty, reunited with her monstrously boring fiancé, will go to extraordinary lengths to elude his sleep-inducing presence. Add to the mix an inarticulate solicitor and a builder who is a motorcycle maniac, and you have one of Ayckbourn’s funniest and most heartfelt comedies." Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock directs.

The cast is led by Claire Brownell as Elizabeth. She is joined by Luke Smith as Mark, Carson Elrod as Tristram, Richard Hollis as Roland, Matthew Greer as Leslie, Helen Cespedes as Kitty.
