The Comedy of Errors Set to Begin at Shakespeare & Company

The Comedy of Errors, William Shakespeare’s shortest comedy, begins this evening at Shakespeare & Company. With most of its farcical humor coming from slapstick and mistaken identity, the show revolves around two sets of identical twins, who are separated at birth. They collide in a hysterical adventure of mistaken identity and human folly, with plenty of puns and wordplay to go around.

The show features Aaron Bartz as Dromio of Ephesus and Dromio of Syracuse, Ben Chase as Merchant and ensemble, Kelley Curran as Adriana, Cloteal Horne as Luciana, Malcolm Ingram as Egeon, Ian Lassister as Antipholus of Epheseus and Antipholus of Syracuse, Josh McCabe as Dr. Pinch and Prince, Christianna Nelson as Abbess, Daniel Rios as Merchant and ensemble, Doug Seldin as Luce and ensemble, and Michael Toomey as Goldsmith under the direction of Taibi Magar.

Performances will run through August 30.
