Berkshire Theatre Festival Announces Casting for A Christmas Carol

Eric Hill will play Ebenezer Scrooge and E. Gray Simons III will play Jacob Marley in the Berkshire Theatre Festival’s production of A Christmas Carol, to run December 11-30 in the company’s Unicorn Theatre. Hill has adapted Charles Dickens’ book and will co-direct the piece with Simons.

The company will also feature Michael Brahce (Narrator), Emily Cooper (Female Party Guest, Chorus), Sam Gillam (Young Scrooge, Man of Business, Male Party Guest), Jesse Hinson (Fred), Rebecca Leigh (Mrs. Fred, Chorus), Ralph Petillo (Solicitor, Christmas Present, Fezziwig, Man of Business), Samantha Richert (Christmas Past, Charwoman), Mark Rosenthal (Bob Crachit), Gail Ryan (Mrs. Fezziwig, Laundress), Caroline (Kim) Taylor (Mrs. Crachit), and Chris Vecchia (Belle’s Husband, Undertaker, Solicitor, Man of Business, Topper).

The children’s ensemble will include Kori Alston (Dick Wilkins, Christmas Yet-to-Come, Chorus); Lindsay Belair (Dorit Cratchit); Alee Danyluk (Violinist, Chorus); Caroline Fairweather (Martha Crachit); Daniel Garrity (Peter Crachit); Amy Kane (Chorus); Hanna Koczela (Fan, Chorus); Joey LaBrasca (Student, Turkey Boy, Chorus); Michelena Mastrianni (Chorus); Anna Grace Nimmo (Ignorance, Chorus); McKenna Powell (Belle); Abby Schilling (Want, Chorus); Henry Taylor (Tiny Tim); Rufus Taylor (Younger Scrooge, Chorus); Emelyn Theriault (Belle’s Daughter, Chorus).

Scenic designer Carl Sprague, costume designer Jessica Risser-Milne, lighting designer Matthew E. Adelson, and sound designer J Hagenbuckle will comprise the creative team.
