The Bridges of Madison County, a new musical adapted from the best-selling Robert James Waller novel, celebrated its world premiere at the beautiful Williamstown Theatre Festival in the Berkshires. Performances will run through August 18 prior to the production's Broadway transfer this coming January.

Steven Pasquale (Rescue Me) and Elena Shaddow (The Light in the Piazza) lead the Williamstown cast as romantic pair Robert Kincaid and Francesca Johnson. Both were on hand to celebrate the opening night, along with Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years), Tony Award-winning book writer Marsha Norman (The Secret Garden), and Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher (Golden Boy).
