Rachel de Benedet, Brian Charles Rooney, Chip Zien, et al. Set for Broadway in the Berkshires

Chip Zien will host Broadway in the Berkshires, a benefit for Shakespeare & Company, to be held in the Founders’ Theatre on Monday, August 15 at 6pm. Sam Scalamoni will direct, with musical direction by Paul Staroba.

The performance will includes dozens of audience favorites such as Cole Porter’s “So In Love” and “Always True to You In My Fashion” from Kiss Me Kate and will be followed by a post-performance dinner reception in the Iredale Lobby of the Bernstein Center for the Performing Arts.

Performers will include Karmine Alers, Bill Barclay, Sean Cody, Paul D’Agostino, Rachel de Benedet, Sean Patrick Doyle, Kearran Giovanni, Deborah Grausman, Alexis Hightower, David Joseph, Dan Kohler, Erik Liberman, Ryan Link, Peter Mazurowski, Jonathan Rayson, Brian Charles Rooney, and Eleni Sophia.

Musicians will include cellist Owen Young and percussionist Chris Mattoon.

Proceeds will go to Shakespeare & Company’s internationally-acclaimed Education and Training Programs.
