Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced full cast and creative team information for its production of She Stoops to Conquer, to play the Main Stage, July 27-August 7. Nicholas Martin will direct.

Pranks and hijinks abound in Oliver Goldsmith’s raucous 18th – century comedy in which two well-bred young men arrive at the country estate of Mr. Hardcastle, intending to woo his daughter Kate and her cousin Constance. But when local mischief-maker Tony Lumpkin plays a practical joke on the city slickers, the Hardcastle household is launched into a dizzying, deliciously preposterous romp of mistaken identity.

The cast will feature Brooks Ashmanskas as Tony Lumpkin, Mia Barron as Miss Hardcastle, Michael Cohen as Roger, Richard Easton as Sir Charles/Diggory, Holley Fain as Miss Constance Neville, Kristine Nielsen as Mrs. Hardcastle, Emily Simoness as Maid, JD Taylor as Thomas, Jon Patrick Walker as Charles Marlow, Jeremy Webb as George Hastins, Mike Weiser as Landlord/Jeremy, and Paxton Whitehead as Mr. Hardcastle.

The creative team will include David Korins (set design), Gabriel Berry (costume design), Ben Stanton (lighting design), and Drew Levy (sound design).
