Michael Thomas Holmes, Morgan James, Leslie Kritzer, Matthew Risch to Star in Barrington Stage’s Guys and Dolls

Full casting has been announced for Barrington Stage Company’s production of the Frank Loesser-Abe Burrows-Jo Swerling musical Guys and Dolls, to be presented June 15-July 16. John Rando will direct.

Based on characters and stories created by Damon Runyon, the musical involves Nathan Detroit betting high-rolling gambler Sky Masterson that Sky cannot persuade Save-A-Soul Missionary Sister Sarah Brown to accompany him on a trip to Cuba.

The production will star Michael Thomas Holmes as Nathan Detroit, Morgan James as Sarah Brown, Leslie Kritzer as Adelaide, Matthew Risch as Sky Masterson, Daniel Marcus as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Timothy Shew as Benny Southstreet, Peggy Pharr Wilson as General Cartwright, and Gordon Stanley as Arvide Abernathy.

The cast will also include Chelsey Arce, Evan Autio, Tommy Bracco, Sharona D’Ornellas, Sean Patrick Folster, Steve Konopleski, Chris Lebeau, Brooke Marinovich, Michael Nichols, Kellyn Uhl, Nicky Venditti and Correy West, along with BSC Musical Theatre Apprentices Taylor Anderson, Andrew Brubaker, Michael Hewitt, and Hannah Richter.

The production will feature scenic design by Alexander Dodge, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Rui Rita, and sound design by Ed Chapman, with choreography by Joshua Bergasse, and music direction by Darren R. Cohen.
