Ari Graynor, Josh Hamilton, Ana Reeder, et al. Added to Williamstown Theatre Festival’s Season

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting for its 2011 season.


The theater’s season will include a production of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire (June 22 – July 3), to be directed by David Cromer, and in addition to the previously reported Jessica Hecht (Blanche DuBois) and Sam Rockwell (Stanley Kowalski), the company will feature Esteben Andres Cruz (Pablo), Jennifer Engstrom (Eunice), Ana Reeder (Stella Kowalski), Daniel Stewart Sherman (Mitch), Lou Sumrall (Steve), and Kirby Ward (Doctor).

In addition, the theater has announced that Ben Cole, Ari Graynor, Justin Long and Lizbeth MacKay will join Paige Howard and Mark Linn-Baker in Lewis Black’s comedy One Slight Hitch (July 6-17), to be directed by Joe Grifasi. For Beth Wohl’s Touch(ed) (August 3-14), directed by Trip Cullman, the company will include Michael Chernus as Billy, Lisa Joyce as Kay, and Merritt Wever as Emma.

It has also been announced that Josh Hamilton will replace Hamish Linklater as Torvald in Sam Gold’s production of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House (July 20-31). He joins the previously reported Oscar Isaac, Matthew Maher, Lily Rabe and Lili Taylor.
