Judy Collins, Barbara Cook, Faith Prince Set for Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center 2012 Season

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center has announced summer 2012 programming.

Among the highlights are Berkshire Cabaret Presents We’ll Meet Again: The Songs of Kate Smith featuring Stephanie Blythe and Craig Terry (June 24); MOMIX in Botanica (July 6 and 7); Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music (July 14); Freddie Roman’s Friars Club Comedy Festival featuring Cory Kahane, Tom Cotter, and Michele Balan (July 15); Tony Award winner Faith Prince in the concert show, Total Faith (July 21); Paul Taylor Dance Company (July 26, 27, and 28); Broadway legend Barbara Cook and Grammy nominee John Pizzarelli (August 4); Grammy Award winners Judy Collins and Jimmy Webb (August 26); and Paula Poundstone (September 22).

In addition, Berkshire Playwrights Lab will hold a gala benefit on June 9, and present numerous staged readings of new plays throughout the summer season.
