LYRIC OPERA HOUSE

Opened in 1894, this theater is one of the most acoustically pleasing venues in the nation. In the early 1900s, the Lyric was a host to musical performances, of course, but also many prize fights as well as celebrity appearances. Recently it has returned to its musical roots by showcasing Broadway-style shows.
