CENTERSTAGE Announces Cast for A Skull in Connemara

Baltimore’s CENTERSTAGE has announced casting for Martin McDonagh’s A Skull in Connemara, to run January 25-March 4. BJ Jones will direct.

The Ireland-set play centers on Mick Dowd, whose job is to exhume the gravesites of those seven years dead to make room for the newly deceased. Now the time has come to dig up his wife, and buried with her could be the answer to one of the town’s juiciest mysteries.

Si Osborne will star as Mick, with the cast also including Barbara Kingsley (Maryjohnny Rafferty), Jordan J. Brown (Maírtin Hanlon), and Richard Thieriot (Thomas Hanlon).

The production team will include scenic designer Todd Rosenthal, lighting designer Michell Habeck, sound designer Andre Pluess, and costume designer David Burdick.

Jones, the artistic director of Chicago’s Northlight Theatre, previously directed McDonagh’s play in 2002, which also started Osborne.
