BRIAN SCOTT LIPTON

Chief Critic/Contributing Editor

Brian joined TheaterMania full-time in 2005. He served as the site's editor-in-chief for eight years and is currently the chief critic and a contributing editor. He has been managing editor of DNR, Accent, and Encore; and editor-in-chief of Resident Publications. In addition, Brian has written for such prestigious publications as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, W, Art & Auction, The New York Post, IN New York, and Where. Brian is currently a member of the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle, and a voter for the Tony Awards. He is a graduate of NYU Law School and Tufts University.
