Written and performed by former Peace Corps Volunteer and Austinite Barton Bryan, The Vortex presents Manchild in the Wasteland. Bryan's one man show tells of how his desire to join the Peace Corp leads him on a journey to the remote villages of West Africa. Along the way, he experiences the dramatic events that move him to become a positive part of a remote West African village and explores the fascinating and sometimes shocking details of being a Peace Corps Volunteer.
