Zachary Scott Theatre Center's Lone Star Season presents House Arrest:A Search for the American Character in and Around The White House, Past and Present, by Anna Deavere Smith (star of NBC's The West Wing). Directed by Dave Steakley. This thought-provoking, satirical new play explores the fishbowl existence of American Presidents.  House Arrest is taken from interviews with real-life figures such as George Stephanopoulos, Ann Richards and George Bush, Sr.   Ms. Smith creates a priceless examination of the intersection of public power and private life. Starring a cast of seven including Everett Quinton (star of Off-Broadway's The Mystery of Irma Vep and also last seen at ZACH in Twisted Olivia, and Karen Kuykendall (Voted Austin's "Best Diva.")
