WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
What is art? What is friendship? These questions are at the center of this hilarious send-up of modern art when the purchases of a white-on-white painting throws the friendship of three friends into turmoil. Serge, who fancies himself an intellectual, pays a small fortune for a work of art that is solid white. His friends, Marc and Yvan, are less than enthusiastic about his acquisition, and as a result, revealing lessons in art and life ensue. This production stars Kenny Leon, Tom Key, and Crhis Kayser. David H. Bell directs.
Art won the 1998 Tony Award for Best New Play.
