Alison Brannon Wilhoit to Star in Atlanta Lyric Theatre’s Legally Blonde the Musical

Atlanta Lyric theatre is set to present Legally Blonde the Musical, August 10-26 at The Cobb Civic Center’s Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. Artistic director Brandt Blocker will direct, with music direction by BJ Brown and choreography by Karen Hebert.

Legally Blonde the Musical is based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon and follows homecoming queen Elle Woods as she puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School.

The cast will feature Alison Brannon Wilhoit (Elle Woods), Matthew Ragas (Warner Huntington III), Alan Kilpatrick (Professor Callahan), Mary Nye Bennett (Paulette), and Corey James Wright (Emmett Foster), and also include Jamie Wood Katz (Brooke Wyndham), Kylie Brown (Vivienne Kensignton), Jordan Craig (Kyle, the UPS delivery guy), Marissa Druzbanski (Enid), Findley Hansard (Serena), Elizabeth Wexler (Margot, Krystle Simmons (Pilar), Dustin Lewis, Becca Potter, Chris Lewis, Joseph Brewer, Helen Varner, Meredith Campbell, Courtney Bowers, Priscilla Curtis, Trey Getz, Ryan Brown, Tucker Weinmann, and Ian Baxter.

The design team will include Kat Conley (set design), Lindsey Paris (costume design), Bradley Bergeron (lighting design), Bobby Johnston (sound design), and George Deavours (wig design).
