Tony Award winner Duncan Sheik, who is currently touring the U.S. in support of his new CD Whisper House (Victor Records/Sony BMG) is partnering with eBay's Giving Works to auction items, including a private songwriting lesson, autographed memorabilia, and backstage concert visits, to raise money for Amnesty International USA.

The CD is a collection of songs that Sheik has written for a new theater piece, co-authored by Kyle Jarrow, which centers around a Maine lighthouse, and tells a World War II-era tale of a child's grief and a spinster's longing through the ghosts that live with them in the lighthouse. The tour continues until March 15.

Sheik won Tony Awards for writing and orchestrating the score of Spring Awakening; the show also received a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album. He received a Grammy Award nomination for his debut CD Duncan Sheik, and his other recordings include White Limousine and Brighter/Later: A Duncan Sheik Anthology.
