WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

How do we honor sacrifices made by soldiers asked to fight in an unpopular war? When is the honor exposed as exploitation? These are more than theoretical questions at Walter Reed's Ward 57. Hollywood challenges military policy when a screenwriter asks for interviews with injured veterans for a new movie about their extraordinary sacrifice. This compassionate new drama reveals the personal secrets and political agendas of those on both sides of the controversy over the Iraq war.
