Thoroughly Modern Millie is the story of a small-town girl who arrives in the Big Apple in 1922 to marry for money instead of love. Based on the 1967 musical comedy film featuring Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore, the starry eyed Millie joins the ranks of women newly entering the workforce and falls adorably and innocently into predicaments of love, friendship and learning to get by in the modern world.
