Starring Judith Kalaora and Allan Mayo, and under the direction of Chris Cavalier, the Contemporary Theatre of Boston's production marks a rare return to the Boston-area stage for Mamet's controversial play -- in which a struggling student accuses her professor of sexual harassment, setting off a dialectical duel between the two that exposes explosive differences in their views on class, gender, and educational roles. To the end, both characters fight for the principles they passionately believe to be true.
