The Boca Raton Theatre Guild presents A.R. Gurney's evocative epistolary drama Love Letters. Nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, the play traces the lifelong correspondence of staid, dutiful lawyer Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and lively, unstable artist Melissa Gardner.

The story of their bittersweet relationship gradually unfolds from what is written - and what is left unsaid - in their correspondence. Sitting side by side - together yet totally separate - these two characters read through fifty years worth of notes, letters, and cards, revealing their lives to the audience and to one another.

Director Jerri Iaia has chosen veteran actors Phyllis Spear and Paul Rosen to portray Melissa and Andy.
