WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In the tradition of Gertrude Stein's 4 Saints in 3 Acts, Nunsense, Late Night Cathechism, and other such acts, Latter-Day Litany takes a light-hearted and satirical view of those Saints who did not make it to the official list in the Vatican. Later-Day Litany received the imprimatur of Bishop James B. Baloney, DD &passed the notorious eyes of Chief Censor Liborium John S. Okay, JCD. Published by Editions Elastiques (1996), LDL has been seen in an earlier version at The Great George Festival in Paterson, the TaDa ! Theatre in NYC, and the BE Gallery in Asbury Pk., NJ.
The Books of the Litany will be performed in sequence and will last about 40 minutes. Meet the Author John J. Trause at either performance with audience reception. Daniel P. Quinn is a member of the Society of Stage Directors & Choreographers, in NYC. Program subject to change.
