WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A king betrayed, a daughter led by desire and an enemy blinded by fury. The hunger for power and freedom consumes Prospero, Miranda and Caliban in this passionate retelling of The Tempest.
A collaboration between Theatre Centre and the acclaimed Brazilian company Nós do Morro, the play draws heavily on the music and culture of Rio's favelas and is performed in English with elements of Portuguese.
