WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A Cole Porter Musical Revue, Hot 'N Cole is jam-packed with 48 of Porter's more than 1,000 songs written during his lifetime--everything from "You're the Top" to "It's De-Lovely" to "Another Openin', Another Show." Cole Porter is known, not only for his gigantic Broadway hits (Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate), but also for creating many American standards that are still widely sung today--"Night ans Day," "I've Got You Under My Skin," and "Let's Do It" to name a few. His songs have been sung for over a century by artists like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole and Elvis Costello. Hot 'n Cole offers audiences a chance to hear those tremendous songs again for the first time with fresh arrangements and a contemporary twist on Cole Porter's classic works.
