The Barrington Stage Company presents Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's musical Follies, directed by Artistic Director Julianne Boyd. On the eve of the destruction of the Weismann Theatre, former Follies girls gather one last time on the stage where they spent their show-biz heyday. The story focuses on the reunion of two couples with romantically entangled pasts. In a series of exuberant songs, from haunting ballads to a string of glittering jazz-age numbers, the foursome sing out the stories of what was, what wasn't and what could have been.
