WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Columbine, Colorado, ridicule caused two boys to turn against their fellow students in violence. A desperate cry. This multi-media piece is a chant ritual enhanced by strings and tribal drums and includes scripted scenes, movement and video-art. Intertwined with the deconstructed events in Columbine is the juxtaposition of Mayan myths related to primal dominance and sacrifice.
This show contains strong language and depictions of violence.
This show is presented as part of the Chicago Fringe Festival.

Repetitive, Redundant, and Repeatable
Had high hopes for this program, yet knew I was in trouble as soon as a busker was pushing CDs of the performance before the curtain. A bit too much repetition of words.
