Join Art House Productions for a theatrical journey with puppets, mask, film/video and dance through the Camino Real, a lost and desperate land peopled by hustlers, dreamers, lovers and legends.
Tennessee Williams' Camino Real (Kam-uh-no Reel) was described by the playwright himself as "the continually dissolving and transforming images of a dream." A well known group of fictional and non-fictional historic characters, including Don Quixote, Casanova, Camille, Lord Byron and even the GI "everyman" of World War II fame, Kilroy, are trapped in a mysterious, dead-end town surrounded by desert. Some will live out their final days wrapped in illusion, while others plot for escape...
