This year The Actor's Fund of America honors producer Rocco Landesman, who will receive The Actors' Fund Medal of Honor. As President of Jujamcyn Theaters, he has achieved remarkable success with such shows as The Producers, Big River, Into the Woods, M. Butterfly, Angels in America, City of Angels, Proof, The Secret Garden, and Caroline or Change. His encouragement of young playwrights, as well as his passion for theater has energized the Broadway community and is largely responsible for enticing a younger and more diverse audience to the Great White Way.
