WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Our nation's founding fathers fight for our freedom and draft the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Sparks fly as John Adams plots and delegates, Thomas Jefferson writes, George Washington waits, and the wily and wise Ben Franklin saves the day. Filled with history, humor, and romance, 1776 is a riveting musical.
1776 has a book by Peter Stone and music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards. The production is directed by Gary Griffin.
