I recently was invited to VST to see the show "Wits Other End". I was really impressed that Birmingham had such great talent. I love comedy and in my opinion they are as good as any comedian you could find elsewhere. Since it was my first time to see the show I didnt know what to expect. I was very disappointed with vulgarity and profanity in the skits. It really is a shame that the writer and director thinks that they need that kind of junk in the show to make it good. I have seen lots of comedians that do not use either of the two in their show and they are just as funny if not funnier that any comedian you could find in the comedy clubs, television or theatre. I have to say that I will not be going back to see their show because of the vulgar content nor will I recommend anyone else to go see it.
